Teamwork Analytics
A multimodal teamwork dashboard showing synchronised audio, video, and physiological traces from a healthcare simulation session, annotated with moments selected for team debriefing (e.g., the TeamVision and TeamSlides interfaces).
This research area focuses on supporting reflection and learning in high-stakes, team-based environments such as nursing and healthcare simulation. I design and evaluate AI-powered analytics systems that help teams and educators make sense of complex multimodal data — audio, video, physiological signals, and interaction logs — captured during simulation sessions.
The goal is to turn dense, hard-to-interpret recordings into actionable insights that support structured debriefing: helping teams reflect on communication, coordination, and decision-making, and helping educators guide that reflection more effectively. Systems such as TeamVision and TeamSlides, alongside frameworks like HuCETA, anchor this work.
